It all started when…

In the summer of 2018, two church polity teachers began talking. One was from the United States and the other was from the Netherlands. Wanting to think deeply about church polity, and wanting to learn from others, they decided that forming an international network of church polity scholars and practitioners could be a very fruitful endeavor. A network that would do a couple of things:

• Publish a journal specifically oriented toward church polity

• Build on the series of international conferences in the past few years about church polity

• Build on an existing book series on church polity

• Develop an international community of scholars and practitioners in church polity.
